Job Description

Abacus Staffing is seeking skilled Forklift Operators to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklift equipment including Reach Truck and Order Picker to ensure the efficient movement of goods within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

We are hiring for 1st and 2nd shifts

Duties

• Operate forklifts, reach truck and cherry pickers to move products throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload shipments efficiently while ensuring accuracy in shipping and receiving processes.
• Utilize RF scanners for inventory management and tracking purposes.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to maintain optimal workflow and meet daily operational goals.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean warehouse environment.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while operating equipment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a distribution center - please specify which forklift you have experience with when applying.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is preferred.
• Experience using RF scanners for inventory management.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• 1-year proven forklift experience is required.

Payrate:

• 1st shift $19.40
• 2nd Shift $20.40
• Weekends - $20.40

Shifts:

       1st M-F 6am-4pm 

       2nd M-F 4pm-12am

       Weekend 6am -6pm FRI/SAT/SUN
