Job Description

Salary: $93,600 - 104,000 per year Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience as an Agile Scrum Master utilizing frameworks such as Scrum, Scrumban, Kanban, or SAFe
  • Certified Scrum Master or other Agile project management certifications (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP)
  • Proven background in project management and/or software development
  • Demonstrated success in leading intricate product development or major project initiatives involving multiple modules
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical abilities with a focus on detail and quality
  • Capable of managing conflicts and collaborating with diverse teams
  • Effective time management and follow-up capabilities
  • Advanced conflict management and negotiation skills for issue resolution
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and make judicious decisions
Responsibilities:
  • Support the management of project roadmaps, scopes, and objectives in collaboration with Product Owners, Solution Analysts, and Development Managers
  • Manage projects requiring both simple and moderately complex adjustments to standard processes
  • Collaborate and negotiate to resolve issues, conducting conflict management with internal stakeholders when requirements change or delivery concerns arise
  • Gather and ensure proper estimation and timely billing of project sizing information
  • Make decisions within established processes with some oversight, offering recommendations beyond guidelines when necessary
  • Facilitate Daily Scrum meetings while promoting clarity in communication, and guide the team on Sprint standards to keep them engaged
  • Provide updates on team performance, remove obstacles impeding progress, and facilitate Sprint events such as Planning, Demos, and Retrospectives
  • Encourage adherence to working agreements, assist in resolving impediments, and foster a culture of continuous enhancement
  • Create a trusting and transparent team environment through effective collaboration and communication
  • Promote an innovative team culture, encouraging engagement in story selection and task definition while facilitating constructive discussions and conflict resolution
  • Collaborate with development leads for capacity planning and resource allocation using Agile tools, shielding teams from outside distractions
  • Coach teams in breaking down requirements into actionable stories and tasks, leading continuous improvement in processes and tools for increased value delivery
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to identify and address complex sources of impediments
  • Collect and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive team improvements
  • Act as an advocate and leader for the full product development process, assisting in documentation and communication when needed
