Job Title:  Senior Graphic Designer
Location-Type:  Hybrid (Washington, DC – 3 days onsite)
Start Date Is:  March 17th
Duration:  4 months (Contract)
Compensation Range:  $40/hr - $50/hr

Job Description:

The Senior Graphic Designer will lead the creation of high-impact visual assets across marketing campaigns, events, and digital platforms. This role blends hands-on design execution with creative direction, supporting brand storytelling across print, digital, and experiential channels.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Design and execute a wide range of assets including event signage, booth graphics, brochures, reports, digital ads, social media, and web visuals
• Own creative concepts from ideation through execution across integrated marketing campaigns
• Develop and maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, internal stakeholders, and external vendors
• Create and adapt assets for paid and organic social channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
• Support event design needs including large-scale signage, collateral, and experiential branding
• Incorporate motion and animation into digital content using After Effects or Premiere
• Manage multiple projects independently, balancing timelines and priorities
• Apply UX/UI best practices to digital assets, including accessibility and visual hierarchy

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

• 5 years of experience in graphic design across print and digital
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
• Experience designing for events (signage, booths, collateral, experiential assets)
• Experience creating assets for both print and digital marketing campaigns
• Working knowledge of motion design using After Effects or Premiere
• Experience working within and applying brand guidelines across multiple formats
• Strong project management skills and experience using a PM tool (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Jira)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Nice-to-Haves:

• Agency background with experience supporting multiple brands or campaigns
• Experience in event or conference-driven organizations
• Experience with data visualization or infographic design
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., color contrast, Section 508)
• Basic understanding of UX/UI design principles
