What You’ll Be Doing

You will manage and support environmental investigation and remediation projects, ensuring high-quality execution from start to finish. This includes overseeing drilling activities, soil and groundwater sampling, and vapor intrusion assessments.

You will guide field teams and subcontractors, provide QA/QC oversight, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You’ll also contribute to project planning, reporting, and client communication, helping translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

Your role will also involve maintaining a strong focus on health and safety while helping drive a culture of continuous improvement.

What Makes You a Strong Fit

You bring a solid foundation in environmental consulting, along with hands-on field experience and project management capability. You are comfortable balancing technical work with leadership responsibilities and enjoy being both in the field and behind the scenes driving projects forward.

You likely have experience with Phase II environmental site assessments, regulatory compliance, and investigation and remediation work. Familiarity with relevant state regulations is important, along with the ability to oversee teams and ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Engineering, or a related field
Registered or Professional Geologist license, or ability to obtain
Experience in environmental consulting with increasing responsibility
Strong working knowledge of field investigation and remediation practices
Project management and team leadership experience
Proficiency with standard business and reporting tools
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Site investigation/remediation project manager/PG/RG who has previously managed large projects that range in cost from $250K – $2M+).

Aboveground storage tank (AST) or underground storage tank (UST) investigation and closure experience

Additional experience with risk assessment, CAD, or HAZWOPER training is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive salary in the range of $65,000 to $85,000, with flexibility based on experience
