Job Description

Winterwood, Inc. is hiring for the role of Leasing Agent. The Leasing Agent is responsible for the leasing and marketing of the property, and ensures target occupancy is maintained at all times. Ideal candidates will have excellent customer service skills and proficiency with computers.

Position Details:

• Property Name/Address: The Hemingway Apts. - 3309 River Chase Ct., Louisville, KY 40218
• Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week) 
• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM; Saturday 10:30 AM-3:30 PM
• Compensation: $20.00 per hour

Qualifications: 

• At least 6 months of apartment leasing experience.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with staff, residents, vendors, and others.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
• Ability to travel to Lexington, KY for training. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Assume responsibility for the leasing process and effectively market the property.
• Show available units to prospective residents.
• Assist in projecting upcoming move-outs to quickly fill units and maintain target occupancy.
• Screen applicants to determine eligibility.
• Complete necessary paperwork and ensure compliance with leasing guidelines.
• Maintain accurate tenant files.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
