Job Description

Salary: $90,000 - 100,000 per year Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of experience in IT support for small to medium-sized, fast-paced organizations
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities while collaborating with a distributed team
  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships within a diverse workplace
  • Prior experience with nonprofit organizations is highly desirable
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Entra ID (IntraID), and Intune
  • Proficient in Windows 10 / 11 (familiarity with Windows 12 is advantageous)
  • Experience with macOS environments
  • Knowledge of Ubiquiti networking equipment
  • Familiarity with VoIP phone systems
  • Proficient in remote monitoring and management (RMM) and support tools
  • Solid understanding of endpoint security practices, patch management, and incident response
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize multiple requests simultaneously
  • Professional demeanor with a customer-service orientation
  • Minimum of an Associates degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent certifications and experience
  • Relevant certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, networking, security) are advantageous
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to commute to our Brooklyn office within 1 hour and have reliable transportation
  • Availability to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary contact for IT support inquiries from both onsite and remote team members
  • Provide hands-on and remote support for Windows and macOS desktops, laptops, and mobile devices (iOS/Android)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Wi-Fi, network connectivity, and peripherals such as printers and scanners
  • Manage conference room technology and A/V systems for hybrid meetings (Zoom, Teams)
  • Support remote users through remote access and monitoring tools
  • Administer and manage Microsoft 365 services, including user provisioning and deprovisioning
  • Maintain Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD / IntraID) and Microsoft Intune
  • Administer SharePoint Online for basic administration and permissions
  • Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of employees, including device setup and account access management
  • Provide first-line support for local network infrastructure and troubleshooting for LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and connectivity issues
  • Collaborate with ISPs and managed service providers as necessary
  • Assist in managing VoIP phone systems, including setup and provisioning for new users
  • Troubleshoot call quality and connectivity challenges
  • Support best practices for endpoint security and assist with incident detection and remediation
  • Ensure compliance through effective device patching and monitoring
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and manage incoming support requests while prioritizing tasks
  • Escalate complex issues to third-party vendors and supervise documentation of systems and procedures
  • Participate in small IT projects and implement technology improvements
