Job Description and Duties

Incumbent performs patrol and investigative Special Operations Unit (SOU) duties; administers and enforces laws relating to fish, wildlife, and habitat  conservation/protection rules and regulations; conducts investigations, including  infiltrating undercover when warranted with full participation in surveillance, interviewing  witnesses, searching for and custody of physical evidence. Incumbent may be required  to use off-road vehicles, vessels, specialized equipment, and work unusual hours.  Interested candidates will be required to successfully complete a practical exam  which will be used to evaluate readiness for the assignment.

This is a statewide recruitment that is eligible to be filled within any California County.
