Email Support Specialist to support their e-commerce and dealer network. This role focuses on delivering exceptional written customer support to consumers and dealers across digital channels. The ideal candidate is customer-centric, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, brand-driven environment. This is a written-communication only role; no phone support is required.
Job Description As a Email Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to consumers and dealers who inquire about products, orders, and services through email, web forms, and other digital platforms. You will manage and resolve inquiries efficiently while protecting and enhancing the client’s brand reputation. This role collaborates cross-functionally with internal teams and supports online sales by ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering a “WOW” customer experience by providing friendly, knowledgeable, and timely written support.
- Assisting customers with product selection, order placement, order status, shipping, and returns for online purchases.
- Educating customers on product features and services and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Receiving, documenting, and resolving consumer and dealer inquiries via email, written correspondence, and web forms.
- Directing consumers to appropriate retail locations or online channels to facilitate sales.
- Logging and managing customer cases and escalations within Salesforce.
- Escalating product quality concerns through established systems and workflows.
- Supporting and monitoring online reviews and customer feedback through platforms such as Reputation.com and Google Reviews (positive engagement-focused).
- Maintaining service excellence by following quality standards and established processes.
- Working closely with internal teams including product, supply chain, marketing, retail, and credit.
Primary systems used include M3 (Order Management), EVA Suite and EVA POS, Salesforce, and other e-commerce and communication tools.
Qualifications Required - Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 1–3 years of customer service experience, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to respond clearly, professionally, and empathetically.
- Experience using CRM and order management systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar).
- Proficiency with standard business tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet-based platforms.
- Customer-service driven mindset with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Preferred - Experience supporting e-commerce customers or digital sales channels.
- Familiarity with POS systems and order management platforms.
- Knowledge of footwear, apparel, or consumer goods products.
- Experience working with online customer reviews and brand reputation management tools.
