Weekend shifts only currently. 

Vigilant Protection Services is seeking highly alert, licensed (level3) Armed Security Guards to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and the public. You will play a critical role in deterring threats, responding to incidents, and enforcing property rules.

This role requires professionalism, strong judgment under pressure, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Protect life and property by maintaining a visible presence and conducting regular patrols
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies in a calm and effective manner
• Monitor access control points
• Deter criminal activity through strong situational awareness and professional conduct
• Enforce client-specific rules and regulations on site
• Complete incident and shift reports accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
• Maintain weapon readiness and follow all firearm safety procedures and state laws
• Monitor entrance/exit to ensure property does not exceed capacity.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Security Officer license (per state requirements)
• Valid firearm permit and proof of current firearms training/certification
• Prior law enforcement, military, or security experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent judgment, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Must be able to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and availability to work assigned shifts (including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed)
• Must pass background check and drug screening

Schedule & Compensation

• There will be weekends with no shifts, weekly schedule provided.
• Friday through Sunday(when needed) 6pm-1am.
• Sunday 10:30am-3:30pm.
• Hourly pay rate $14 .
