The welder will utilize TIG and stick welding techniques for pipe fabrication, specifically for process piping. The role involves welding stainless steel and carbon materials, predominantly focusing on Schedule 10, Schedule 40, and Sani-tube tasks.
ResponsibilitiesAfter six months of employment, employees receive full coverage of the basic insurance plan. After a year or close to 1,000 working hours, a 4% 401K match is provided. While per diem is not offered, employees who travel over 60 miles are reimbursed for travel expenses and provided with hotel accommodations.
Work EnvironmentThe company specializes in process piping for the chemical and food & beverage industries, promoting team settings at project sites. Projects typically last a few weeks but can vary. Working hours are generally from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, with overtime as needed. Employees must wear long sleeves and, after a few weeks, will receive a company shirt. Personal hoods, steel-toed boots, and tools are required. Occasionally, overnight travel is necessary, with compensation for gas and a daily per diem.
