Job Summary

This role will operate the tumbling line and forklifts as directed while adhering to all rules and regulations mandated by safety policies and procedures to produce a superior product.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor tumbler line flow
• Perform quality checks on finished products
• Perform preventative maintenance on line
• Position forks, lifting platform or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products or materials
• Transport materials to designated area
• Unload and stacks materials
• Inventory materials on yard
• Maintain yard and work area in a clean and safe manner
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision in ensuring customers are loaded as scheduled without undue delay

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; or at least one month of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in operating a forklift to load and unload materials in a manufacturing/retail distribution environment
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals
