Desk Side Engineer - Senior Washington DC 12+ Months

Primary Responsibilities:

Tier 2/3 Technical Support: Diagnosing and resolving complex hardware, software, and platform issues for laptops, desktops, and mobile devices (iPhone/iPad).
Platform Management: Managing environment health using tools like Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) for imaging and JAMF for macOS management.
Google Workspace Support: Many DOT components have transitioned to Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Meet). You will provide daily support and user training for these tools.
IMAC Activities: Handling "Install, Move, Add, Change" requests, including lifecycle refreshes (replacing old hardware with new, imaged machines).
Executive "White Glove" Support: Providing priority, highly professional assistance to senior leadership and management offices.
Ticket Management: Tracking all work in ServiceNow to ensure compliance with Service-Level Agreements (SLAs).

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Typically 3 5+ years in Deskside or Tier 2 support.
Operating Systems: Expert-level knowledge of Windows 10/11 and macOS.
Certifications: CompTIA A+ (often required); HDI-Technical Support Professional; Network+ or Security+.
Soft Skills: Strong verbal communication and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
