Job Title: Project Manager Space Optimization (Entry-Level)

Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid must be within commuting distance)
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM EST

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager Space Optimization to support a large-scale initiative focused on optimizing retail space layouts by reducing storefront areas and expanding backroom capacity.

This is an entry-level project management role that emphasizes coordination, scheduling, and execution across multiple teams, including facilities, electricians, vendors, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

• Coordinate day-to-day project activities across multiple store locations.
• Partner with facilities teams to support scheduling, site readiness, and issue resolution.
• Communicate effectively with electricians, data/IT teams, and external vendors to ensure timely task completion.
• Track project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and progress updates.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow up on outstanding action items.
• Support store planning efforts, including floor plan updates (training provided).
• Identify risks, delays, or issues and escalate as necessary.
• Ensure consistent execution through strong attention to detail and adherence to processes.
• Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1 3 years of experience in project coordination or entry-level project management.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

• Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
• PMP certification (preferred but not required).

• Strong task management and organizational skills.
• Proactive and clear communication.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Dependability and strong follow-through.
• Problem-solving and risk identification capabilities.
