Preferred : -

• Hands-on project experience supporting CrowdStrike Identity Protection deployments or remediation programs .
• Familiarity with identity threat detection, lateral movement risk mitigation, and AD hardening.
• Experience supporting audit or regulatory remediation programs.
• Agile/Scrum experience (CSM, SAFe, or similar).

Job Title: Project Manager Cyber Security Identity & Active Directory Remediation

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a Cyber Security Identity Management and Active Directory (AD) Remediation initiative , with strong exposure to identity threat detection and protection platforms such as CrowdStrike Identity Protection .

This role will manage complex, cross-functional delivery across infrastructure, security, IAM, and audit teams while ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and on-time execution. The Project Manager will play a key role in coordinating identity security remediation, privileged access controls, and identity threat visibility initiatives , including deployment, integration, and remediation activities tied to identity protection tooling.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating in high-visibility, regulated environments and coordinating multiple technical teams while supporting organizations transitioning to Agile delivery models.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Management

• Lead end-to-end delivery of an Identity Security / Active Directory Remediation program , including identity threat protection initiatives .
• Manage project execution across:
  • On-prem Active Directory remediation
  • Entra ID (Azure AD) security improvements
  • Identity threat detection implementation and remediation workflows
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, and work breakdown structures (WBS).
• Track risks, issues, dependencies, and remediation activities across security workstreams.

Identity Security & CrowdStrike Coordination

• Coordinate implementation and operational alignment of CrowdStrike Identity Protection (or similar identity threat detection platforms).
• Partner with Cyber Security and IAM teams to:
  • Track identity threat remediation activities
  • Coordinate sensor/agent deployment dependencies
  • Support AD hardening initiatives
  • Align identity telemetry and monitoring improvements
• Ensure remediation efforts align with identity threat detection findings and audit recommendations .
• Support prioritization of identity security vulnerabilities and privileged access risks.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Coordinate and align efforts across:

• Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Cyber Security Engineering
• Active Directory / Infrastructure teams
• Compute & Server teams
• Network Security
• Cloud Engineering
• Audit, Risk & Compliance
• External vendors and service providers

Facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders to remove blockers and drive execution.

Governance & Communication

• Drive governance through standups, working sessions, and steering committee meetings.
• Provide weekly executive status reporting covering:
  • Identity remediation progress
  • CrowdStrike Identity Protection rollout status
  • Risk posture updates
  • Audit remediation tracking
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and decision logs.

Agile Delivery Support

• Manage Agile backlogs, sprint planning, execution tracking, and release readiness.
• Partner with Product Owners and Security Technical Leads to prioritize identity security work.
• Monitor delivery health, velocity, and remediation completion metrics.

Change & Risk Management

• Coordinate change management for identity security configuration updates.
• Ensure compliance with internal cyber security standards and audit requirements.
• Drive mitigation of risks related to:
  • Privileged access
  • Identity compromise
  • Directory services security
  • Identity threat detection gaps

Required Skills & Experience

Project Management

• 7+ years of experience managing enterprise IT or Cyber Security programs.
• Experience leading identity security or Active Directory remediation initiatives .
• Strong planning, financial tracking, and governance experience.

Technical & Domain Knowledge

Working knowledge of:

• Active Directory (on-prem)
• Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Identity security remediation programs

Experience coordinating with Cyber Security engineering teams and audit stakeholders.
