Job Description

We are seeking a hybrid Teacher for Physical Education (P.E.) and Technology to join AmeriSchools at our Yuma North campus. If you're a development-focused, dedicated teacher who wants to work for a growing charter school, participate in the Arizona state retirement system, and receive educational assistance, then join our team!

• Contributes to student learning, growth, and advancement.
• Prepares lesson plans and coordinates activities.
• Establishes and maintains a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment.
• Oversees safety of children.
• Attends staff meetings, school programs, and in-service trainings.
• Shares and uploads classwork to appropriate shared school drive to be used for publication and media.
• Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in education or related field.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of various office equipment and educational software.
• Prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
• Must be able to lift up to 20lbs at times.
• Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Current CPR certification.
