Do you enjoy orthopaedics? The Orthopaedic Outpatient Surgery Center (OOSC) is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the operating room. The OOSC is exclusive to DMOS surgeons performing a wide variety of orthopaedic cases from hand to total joints. This position is a Monday thru Friday full-time position. Eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus for full-time candidates. Enjoy a great work life balance as there is no weekend or call coverage.

Do I want the job? As an OR Nurse you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing outpatient orthopaedic surgery procedures. You are able to maintain a safe and sterile environment in the operating room, while providing care to patients before, during, and after surgery. You will perform thorough patient assessments required by the outpatient setting. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and assist with the preparation and maintenance of the operating room. You will work in a place that expects outstanding experiences; we do this by working hard to assume the best and being curious with all around us. You will be naturally curious, friendly and helpful.

Can I do the job? You will be on your feet for extended periods of time that may seem unnatural. You are able to communicative effectively and efficiently with team members, supervisors and physicians. You can think on your feet and are an excellent multi-tasker. You are able to use your indoor voice and use confidential information for patient care only. Be respectful of patient rights. You are able to work the hours of the position (Monday thru Friday).

What does an outstanding OR RN look like? Current, unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa as a Registered Nurse. An active BLS Certification. An active ACLS and PALS preferred. Prior experience working in orthopaedics or an ASC is preferred, but not required. Must be able to prioritize and work with minimal supervision. Flexibility of hours based on scheduled cases. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to handle high stress environments and be adaptable to change.

OOSC is a privately held joint venture with Unity Point and DMOS medical facility. Candidates who receive a conditional offer of employment will be required to complete a full physical, drug screen, criminal background check, federal background checks, education verification, reference checks, and an initial TB test. Education

• Associates Degree or better in Nursing or related field
• Technical/other training or better in Nursing or related field
