Compliance Officer

Location: Lauderdale, FL (Onsite)

Work Environment: Professional office setting, business casual dress code, cubicle workspace.

Position Overview

Dhaka Technologies Limited Company (DTLC) is recruiting on behalf of a client. The Compliance Officer serves as the first point of contact for constituents and complainants filing complaints with the Division. The role centers on intake, statutory analysis, jurisdictional determination, and clear written and verbal communication of case outcomes all documented within the Division's case management systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact constituents and complainants to discuss the details of complaints filed with the Division.
  
• Review applicable Florida statutes and compare them against complaint facts to analyze each issue.
  
• Communicate professionally and courteously with members of the public; strong customer service is essential.
  
• Advise complainants of the Division's jurisdiction and, where applicable, explain the basis for closing the case.
  
• Provide appropriate resources and referrals to complainants.
  
• Draft and send written correspondence to complainants upon supervisor approval.
  
• Close out cases by entering the appropriate codes, activities, and statuses in Versa .
  
• Document all case actions accurately in the OnBase system.
  

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Ability to read and interpret Florida statutes and apply them to fact patterns.
  
• Prior experience working with the public in a professional environment.
  
• Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  
• Commitment to project timelines and consistent follow-through on case actions.
