Job Title: Neurology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Location: Germantown and Silver Spring, MD

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled bilingual (English and Spanish, required) Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a multi-location neurology practice. Experience and/or post-graduate training in neurology is preferred. This role involves providing high-quality care to neurology patients in both outpatient clinic settings and hospital environments under the supervision of a neurologist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments, including patient history and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions in collaboration with a supervising neurologist.
• Provide outpatient care to patients at clinic locations in Germantown and Silver Spring.
• Perform inpatient neurology consultations and follow-ups in hospital settings.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies as appropriate.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical response.
• Educate patients and families on neurological conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Document patient encounters accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records.
• Participate in on-call rotation, including occasional night calls.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Stay current with advancements in neurology and evidence-based practices.

Compensation:
Salary is commensurate with neurology experience and productivity, primarily based on the average number of patients seen per day.
