About the Role Our firm is partnering with a large, nationally recognized enterprise organization operating at scale within the retail and consumer services industry to support its network security operations. We are seeking a Security Engineer with a strong focus on Zscaler technologies to provide advanced operational and end-user support across critical security platforms.
This role is ideal for a hands-on security professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex network security environments, supporting enterprise users, and contributing to the stability and performance of zero-trust and perimeter security solutions.
Job Description The Security Engineer will provide 2nd and 3rd-level operational support for enterprise network security tooling, with a primary focus on internet proxy, VPN, zero-trust network access, and firewall platforms.
Responsibilities include: - Providing advanced support and troubleshooting for network security solutions, with a strong emphasis on Zscaler technologies
- Supporting VPN and remote access services, including Cisco AnyConnect
- Assisting with proxy and traffic management solutions, including F5 platforms
- Supporting firewall operations and configurations in enterprise environments
- Working closely with infrastructure and security teams to resolve incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and maintain platform stability
- Delivering high-quality end-user support while balancing back-end and infrastructure-level responsibilities
- Following standard operating procedures and contributing to documentation and knowledge sharing
Qualifications Required Qualifications: - Hands-on experience supporting Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Client Connector (ZCC)
- Experience providing 2nd and 3rd level support for network security platforms
- Strong troubleshooting skills in enterprise network and security environments
- Experience supporting end users in large-scale organizations
- Knowledge of VPN, proxy, and zero trust network access concepts
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Cisco AnyConnect VPN
- Experience supporting Checkpoint firewalls
- Experience with F5 BIG-IP or other proxy/load-balancing solutions
- Background supporting firewall and network infrastructure platforms in addition to user-facing tools
