Job Description

As a Landscape Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the upkeep and enhancement of various landscapes. This position offers hands-on, outdoor work in a collaborative setting, with opportunities to learn new skills and contribute to a positive work environment. The role is full-time, primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional off-hour or weekend work due to seasonal needs and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance and construction tasks on outdoor projects and worksites as assigned by management.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools, and assist with loading trucks and hauling materials.
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite by picking up tools, equipment, and debris daily.
• Follow all safety procedures and report any incidents or hazards to colleagues, management, or human resources.
• Work collaboratively with team members and assist Crew Leaders as needed.
• Perform opening and closing duties for worksites.
• Participate in Snow Operations, including snow plan development and area management during snow events, which may require work outside normal hours.
• Perform light maintenance on assigned equipment, keep records of inventory, and maintain cleanliness of assigned areas.
• Carry out other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment.
• Experience or education demonstrating the ability to perform landscape maintenance work.
• Knowledge of proper use of landscape equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Familiarity with first aid and applicable safety precautions.
• Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to schedule.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, walk and stand for extended periods, and perform strenuous labor in various weather conditions.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Understanding of equipment and tool safety.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
