Hardware Technician

Position – Hardware Technician

Job Location – Hartland, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift, Monday-Thursday: 5:00 A.M-2:00 P.M; Friday: 6:00 A.M-10:00 A.M

Starting Pay – $19.50

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience – At least 3 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Use knowledge of power/hand tools to assemble, troubleshoot, and repair steel poles
• Use MIG welding skills to weld handles and bend poles to proper specifications
• Cut wire to appropriate lengths and customer specifications
• Use machine shop/tool fabrication experience as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a hardware technician
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent measuring skills, experience with hand and power tools, and MIG welding experience
• Experience with machine shops and fabrication
• Ability to read schematics
