Multiple positions may be filled from this recruitment.

Shifts include weekends and are irregular.

The California Exposition and State Fair currently has multiple openings for seasonal employment in the following position:  Guest Services Representative.  Incumbents may perform a variety of duties during the California State Fair.

Working Conditions

Incumbent will follow all current state and county safety guidelines. Positions require working outdoors, standing/sitting for long periods of time, walking or carrying items (e.g., tables, chairs, boxes of supplies) with or without assistance.

Special Requirements

  • Applicants must be 18 years of age to be considered or 17 years of age and graduated from high school
  • Must complete fingerprints through Live Scan
  • Additional online training may be required prior to employment
  • Periodic Overtime may be required
  • Prolonged periods of sitting & standing
  • May be exposed to extreme temperatures, airborne dust, fumes, vapors, chemicals, medical waste and blood borne pathogens
