Location: Bakersfield, CA

Employment Type: Part-Time to convert to Full-Time/Temp-to-Hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Pay: $20-23/hour

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to support our client's sign and graphics production team. This role combines general labor, light administrative assistance, and hands-on shop work both indoors and outdoors. The ideal candidate is computer-literate, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Shop Support

• Assist in basic sign and graphic production tasks under the guidance of our designer.
• Use basic hand tools such as drills, hammers, and screwdrivers for installation prep and general shop work.
• Help with both indoor and outdoor tasks as needed (e.g., light installations, material handling, job site prep).

Administrative & Computer Tasks

• Provide general office and administrative support to help keep projects organized.
• Assist with simple computer-based tasks, including file handling and basic software use.
• Support the designer with tasks requiring attention to detail and organization.

Qualifications

• Basic computer literacy is required.
• Familiarity with Adobe software (Illustrator) is a plus, but not required they can train the right candidate.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow detailed instructions.
• Comfort using basic hand tools (drill, hammer, screwdrivers, etc.).
• Willingness to perform both indoor and outdoor tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
