Armed Security Officer – Full Time

Schuylkill County, PA | Local Security Job

Pay: $26/hour

+$0.50/hour military & veteran differential

KRE Security, LLC is hiring Full-Time Unarmed Security Officers for a professional, controlled client site in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. This position is ideal for experienced security officers, veterans, former law enforcement, or dependable guards seeking stable weekday employment with consistent hours.

This post offers clear procedures, defined responsibilities, and a structured environment with strong supervisory support.

Schedule – Full-Time

• Monday–Friday
• 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
• 40 hours per week
• Predictable schedule — no rotating shifts

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide professional unarmed security at a client facility
• Conduct foot patrols and monitor access points
• Perform access control and visitor screening
• Observe, document, and report incidents
• Maintain situational awareness and a professional presence
• Complete daily activity and incident reports (Belfry Software)
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and site contacts
• Follow post orders, security procedures, and confidentiality requirements

Requirements

• 1–2 years experience in one or more of the following:
  • Security guard / private security
  • Law enforcement or corrections
  • Military or government service
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
• Comfortable using mobile devices and electronic reporting
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Willing to work outdoors in varying weather
• Must pass background check
  (FBI fingerprinting completed upon offer)

Bilingual candidates are a plus, not a requirement.

Pay & Benefits

• $26/hour
• Overtime pay for hours worked over 40/week
• +$0.50/hour military & veteran pay differential
