job summary:
An Environmental Engineer is needed for an engineering consulting company in the Manassas, VA area. This role involves managing environmental compliance and technical reporting and will work in the office and field with a multi-disciplinary team consisting of experienced engineers and consulting staff.

responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior engineers and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver environmental consulting projects.
- Prepare, write, and review technical reports, project documents, and environmental strategies.
- Perform technical calculations and evaluate data to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and implement federal and state/provincial environmental regulations across diverse project sites.
- Apply business acumen to project execution, including health, safety, and environmental management.
- Provide compliance advice and technical evaluations to team members and stakeholders.
Skills:
- Possess business acumen that is applied in all aspects of project execution
- Knowledge of environmental compliance, environmental consulting, and client interactions/relationships.
- Basic knowledge of federal and state/provincial environmental regulations?
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Civil, Environmental Engineering, or Environmental Science.
- Minimum 4 years of experience within environmental consulting?
- Professional Engineer (P. Eng) designation or the ability to obtain it in the next 6 months.
