TitleDental receptionist / admin
Job DescriptionPatient Concierge: Greet patients warmly upon arrival, manage the check-in/check-out process, and ensure all new patient paperwork is completed accurately.
Schedule Orchestration: Efficiently manage the practice calendar, scheduling appointments to optimize flow while accommodating emergency "squeeze-ins" with grace.
Insurance & Billing Navigation: Verify insurance benefits prior to appointments, explain treatment plans/co-pays to patients, and process payments securely.
Communication Hub: Answer multi-line phones, respond to patient inquiries via email or text, and manage appointment confirmations and follow-ups.
Administrative Support: Maintain digital patient records in strict accordance with HIPAA regulations and assist the clinical team with referral coordination.
Salary Rangefull-time $18 - $26 per hour

RequirementsExperience: At least 1 year of experience in a dental or medical office setting is preferred (experience with dental software like Dentrix or Eaglesoft is a major plus).
Knowledge: Familiarity with dental terminology and a solid understanding of dental insurance verification processes.
Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills—you must be comfortable talking to people and handling occasional high-pressure situations with a smile.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new practice management software quickly.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
