Overview

We are seeking a CAD Drafter and/or Designer to join our dynamic team in our Metal Fabrication Shop located in Warminster, PA, 18974. As a CAD Drafter, you will play a crucial role in producing Shop Drawings (CAD), working closely with the VP of Production, Project Management, and the Shop Floor Manager to ensure recently approved projects are being delivered to the shop floor in a timely manner and completed to meet our committed lead times provided to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Work with the VP of Production to prepare and build shop floor drawings for the fabrication team.
• Work with the Project Management team from the approved quote to final delivery to the customer.
• Utilize CAD/CAM software, specifically AutoCAD, for shop floor drawings.
• Communicate effectively with team members, management, and clients to ensure project alignment.
• Read and interpret blueprints/customer-provided flat files, etc.
• Participate in the ISO:9001:2015 rollout that is in progress.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
• Engineering knowledge a plus
