Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service during breakfast hours, ensure a clean and welcoming dining environment, and assist with food preparation and service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where hospitality, food safety, and customer satisfaction are prioritized. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided to the right candidate.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service to ensure a positive breakfast experience
• Prepare and serve breakfast items, including food presentation and portioning
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing tables, bussing, and cleaning surfaces
• Assist with food handling, storage, and basic meal preparation as needed
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
• Restock buffet stations and ensure food safety standards are maintained throughout service
• Manage guest inquiries professionally via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent communication skills
• Support catering or banquet setups if required, ensuring timely and efficient service
• Uphold health and safety regulations related to food safety, sanitation, and guest safety

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality is preferred; experience with food preparation or culinary skills is a plus
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and handle guest relations professionally
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic food handling and safety knowledge; certification in food safety is a plus
• Flexibility to work mornings during breakfast hours; weekend availability may be required
• Experience with kitchen tasks such as knife skills or meat cutting is beneficial but not mandatory
• Friendly demeanor with excellent phone etiquette and guest interaction skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a hospitality setting
