An Au Pair is a live-in childcare provider who supports a host family by caring for children and assisting with light household duties related to childcare. In exchange, the Au Pair receives accommodation, meals, a stipend, and the opportunity for cultural exchange. Key Responsibilities -Provide attentive and responsible care for children -Assist with daily routines such as waking up, meals, dressing, and bedtime -Take children to and from school, activities, and appointments -Organize age-appropriate educational and recreational activities -Help with homework and language learning -Prepare simple meals and snacks for children -Perform light housekeeping related to childcare (tidying play areas, children's laundry) -Ensure children's safety and well-being at all times -Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's needs and progress Requirements and Qualifications -Genuine interest in childcare and working with children -Previous childcare experience preferred -Responsible, patient, and trustworthy personality -Basic knowledge of child safety and first aid (or willingness to learn) -Ability to adapt to a new culture and family environment -Good communication skills) -Legal eligibility to work as an Au Pair in the host country Working Conditions -Live-in position with private room (private bathroom) -Working hours as agreed upon with host family (within legal limits) -Weekly or monthly stipend/pocket money -Time off and vacation days according to local regulations -Opportunity for cultural exchange, language learning, and travel Benefits -Free accommodation and meals -Cultural immersion and international experience -Language practice and personal development -Support from host family and/or Au Pair agency
