Department of Safety Office of the Commissioner 33 Hazen Drive, Concord, NH 03305 PART TIME AGENCY INVESTIGATOR (Program Specialist III) Position #TMPPT6271 The pay range for this position is $25.40 - $34.14 per hourThe State of New Hampshire, Department of Safety, Office of the Commissioner has a part-time vacancy for an Agency Investigator(Program Specialist III), SOC Title 13-1070 HUMAN RES WKRS-4. This position is part-time, which cannot exceed 29.5 hours perwork week and does not offer insurance benefits.
SUMMARY:
Performs fact-finding interviews of Department of Safety civilian employees. Interprets information gathered andanalyzes state and agency policies and procedures to compile reports and recommendations for leadership for their use indecision-making.
YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS : Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required workexperience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree and 1 year of experience OR equivalent combination of 5 years of education and experience after completion ofhigh school. Education and experience must be in business or public administration, human resources, criminal justice, or relatedfield with work that included conducting investigations, legal activities, compliance review or a related investigatory experience.
License/Certification: Valid driver's license for use in statewide travel.
Other Requirements:
Selected candidate will undergo a fingerprint based criminal background check and motor vehicle record check in order to ensuresuitability for exposure to confidential information.RESPONSIBILITIES:
